Dr HITAYEZU Janvier
Co-Principal Investigator
He has served as a consultant pediatrician at CHUK since 2016 and sub-specialized in Pediatric Emergency & Critical Care. Besides his primary assignment of caring for critically ill children, he has had strong ties and track records with genetics since his completion of medical school.
Dr. Janvier attended the International Summit of Human Genetics and Genomics at the NIH (USA) in 2017. He later completed the Medical Genetics and Genomics Certificate Program (NHRH, NIH) in 2021.
In the TeleGerne project, he assists the PI by providing specialized genetic consultation skills to doctors located in remote areas, bridging the gap between urban centers and regional clinics.
