TeleGerne is an innovative research initiative funded by the National Council for Science and Technology (NCST) and hosted at the University of Rwanda. The project is dedicated to improving the accessibility and accuracy of genetic disease diagnosis across Rwanda, with a special focus on underserved and remote areas.
TeleGerne envisions a future where every healthcare provider, regardless of location, has equitable access to a digital platform offering expert guidance, on-demand training, and culturally adapted resources to diagnose and manage genetic conditions. Through accessible digital learning and community education, we aim to empower both providers and families to navigate genetics concepts with confidence and clarity.
